Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the letznest platform operated by letznest. Luxembourg law applies. Consumer rights under mandatory national law remain unaffected.

1. Service

letznest provides an online marketplace to discover housing and roommates in Luxembourg, including messaging and optional paid features. We do not act as a real-estate agency and are not a party to rental agreements between users unless expressly stated for a specific product.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 16 years old. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or deceptive content or behaviour.
  • No circumvention of security, scraping that impairs the service, or misuse of APIs.
  • Listings must describe real properties honestly; no malware or harmful links.
  • Respect intellectual property and privacy of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for other users.

4. Listings, reviews, and user content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and process your content for operating and promoting the service (including moderation and safety). Opinions in reviews are those of their authors. We may remove content that violates law or these terms.

5. Payments

Paid features are processed by Stripe. Fees, taxes, and refund conditions are shown at purchase. For payment disputes, Stripe issuing bank or card rules may also apply.

6. Optional AI tools

If you use AI-assisted drafting, you remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of text you publish. Do not submit special-category data into prompts unless the product explicitly allows it and you have a lawful basis.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for reasonable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify the service or these terms; material changes will be communicated appropriately and continued use may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Luxembourg law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Our aggregate liability for direct damages in respect of a calendar year is limited to the fees you paid to us in that year (excluding third-party payments such as rent), unless mandatory law requires a higher amount.

We are not responsible for user-to-user transactions, property inspections, or contract performance beyond providing the platform.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we process personal data. Data-protection enquiries: [email protected].

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections if you qualify as a consumer.
